The Why Are We Like This? Stories of Transformation book launch weekend began Friday night with an introductory dinner at Tao Tao Restaurant, followed by a performance of Clarkston starring Joe Locke. We had the opportunity to meet Joe after the show. 

On Saturday, we boarded our private coach and visited the Everyman Cinema, Hollywood Bowl, Nick's house, the "I Love You" lamppost, the site of the milkshake scene, the library, Charlie's house, Truham School, the fallen tree, Nick and Imogen's bench, the Riverside Walk, Higgs School, and even passed a Nando's on the way back. At our last stop, we were escorted inside Harry's birthday party mansion for an exclusive private tour. In the evening, we attended the book-signing and panel discussion featuring guest speakers Courtney Jai-Niner (Season 1, Episode 6) and Ashley Hullett, producer of Why Are We Like This: A Heartstopper Podcast.

On Sunday, we boarded our private coach for more fun and headed to Herne Bay to visit the town's filming locations, including the beach and pier, before sharing tearful goodbyes and warm hugs with friends who had become family.
